Textures Hand-dyed Organic Pima Cotton

This is a whisper soft organic pima cotton hand-dyed by a fiber artist in Upstate New York.  It's a DK weight, but varies slightly with soft slubs that are a little thicker.  The texture is really quite lovely with just a bit of sheen characteristic of the finest cotton.  Between the touchable texture and the exquisite color shifts this yarn will shine in patterns that themselves are simple allowing the yarn to steal the show.  Think summer short sleeve or sleeveless sweater tops, wraps, shawls, baby blankets.  You will want this yarn against your skin.  Each hank has a generous 310 yards.  It can be gently machine washed, mild soap, but lay flat to dry.
