Safari Yarn
This standout yarn features multiple colors in the skein punctuated by a districtive black and white strand. It's a stunning pop that will elevate any project out of the ordinary. It's a soft superwash wool that is made in Peru and dyed in in the US. It's classified as a fingering weight but it has a loft and bounce that would work beautifully on a larger needle - like a US 6 or 7. At 437 yards per 100 grams there is a generous amount of yarn in the skein. I saw this yarn in Chicago at H&H worked up in "Changing Staircases" written by Trysten Molina/Dragon Hoard Yarn - a single skein is all you need for this beautiful shawl - the pattern is free on Ravelry. The pattern calls for a US 5 needle but I think again, you could use a 6 or 7 to take advantage of the bloom of this gloriously colored yarn.
