This is one of those yarns tht really distinguishes hand made socks from anything on the ready-to-wear market. It's a soft smooth blend of merino wool (50%) bamboo (25%) and nylon. The bamboo gives it a silky hand and the merino gives it all of the wonderful qualitites of itch-free soft wool, plus it's machine washable! Nylon is there for durability. It's engineered to produce a fun intarsia which keeps the knitting fun and interesting for the knitter.
