Hi Everyone!
Just a little reminder that our second Knit Night Out is scheduled for this Thursday.  Below are photos from our first, last month, which was so FUN!  If you are local please join us!! A couple of things we learned: First, several folks picked up takeout to bring with - this was brilliant! Toyama, the Mills and Hoppin' Johns are great options because they are close by - but other options abound. Second, the high tops and picnic tables weren't super comfortable, especially for knitting. If you have one of those fold up camp/sport event chairs, bring it. We did that when we did Knit in Public Day out by the waterfront and that worked out well. From what I saw, there is plenty of room in Pailin's Alley and the chairs are super easy to scootch around if need be. I have a couple of extra of my own so if you want to come but don't have a chair, just contact me at the shop.  Parking - people seemed to be ok with that, but gathering someplace and carpooling is never a bad idea. I did that with a couple of folks at the shop and that was great too.

Details: This Thusday (7/21) from 7-9 pm at Ghost Harbor/Palin's Alley.  Ghost Harbor is owned by Thomas and Tabitha (Coastal Purl knitter) Reese and we are delighted to be partnering with them. They have their own beer on tap, but also a great selection of ciders and wine as well, so something for everyone. Bring your work in progress and enjoy this time with fellow knitters and crocheters <3. If it rains we'll still have it but we'll be inside at Ghost Harbor instead of the Alley.

If you don't have a WIP by all means stop by!! I've got an outstanding selection of seasonal yarns and so many pattern recommendations!
